There's no crosstalk between the APC and the ECU.

If it starts running rich at moderate and higher boost levels, even with stock injectors, look for leaks in the ducting, boots, and intercooler between the turbo discharge and the throttle body. Look for things like loose hose clamps, splits in the rubber boots (take them off and roll them around in your hand to see some of the subtle splits), loose rubber bushings around the vacuum nipples, etc.

When you get pressure leaks in the induction, the amount of air that actually reaches the engine is less than what the AMM measured. But the ECU still feeds fuel based on what it's reading from the AMM and it's not able to use the signal from the O2 sensor to compensate for the mismatch, so the engine runs rich.

You might also have an FPR problem, but check the induction system first.
