I don't need this trannie, I just thought it would be fun to replace the pinion (and 4/5 synchro which is acting up) and have a good spare. Obviously, I'd just as soon not spend the money on the pinion, synchro and gaskets if the transmission is toast in other areas. Is there anyway to describe what is an unacceptable level of wear on the teeth or does it require someone with your experience to see it? Thanks for all your help on this site.
