I am having a major problem with my 900, it began with a sporadic but very rare check engine light about 18 months ago. Seemed to happen whenever car had been stopped for a short while (5 mins) then restarted. Light stayed on for 20mins then went off again. Replaced lambda sensor, ECU, regrounded everything, fault went away for a while. Now it's come back and is becoming regular. Next symptom three weeks ago taking a long while to start from cold. Replaced HT coil, leads, rotor arm, dist cap, seemed to improve but CE light still coming on every now and then. Next symptom failed to start completely, replaced ignition amp - seemed to fix it. Now it's happened again - no start, left car for 15 mins and tried again - started and drove for a couple of minutes then died. Started again and drove home (10 miles) fine....help..! Hall effect sensor? EZK unit?
