Changing the trans fluid. Go to the local auto parts store and get a case of type F fluid. Drain out what you can from the trans(usually ends up being about 3 to 3.5 quarts). Then refill, drive around a few minutes, then repeat the process at least 3 times. This will get all of that old fluid out because I bet at that low mileage...that stuff has probably never been changed.
I would also change the final drive fluid. Drain it, fill it, drive it about a week and then change it again. I use regular 10W-30 motor oil. That's what was in mine so I stuck with it. When you drain it, give it a good sniff. If it real sulfery smelling it is gear lube and in that case you would want to fill it with gear lube. There is something bad about going from gear lube to motor oil but not vice versa. Check the owners manual though....I think they filled it with oil some years and gear lube some others. Chances are again that it is the original fluid in there.
Nice find....34K miles!
Have fun
