he said if the piston is rusted , forget about rechroming as it's not cost effective plus may not be round when done.
he also said the condition of the bore is not critical unless really bad, letting the pistons tip - said the bore really is simply a chamber for containing the fluid and the pistons ride the seals more than anything...
i've been learning myself on some junkyard calipers and both indirects were seized, and it was impossible to free them from the bore.
What am i missing Chrisx - you've been in this game a heck of a lot longer than me!!!
