<I posted this question on another board but didn't get a reply. Hope this doesn't break some unwritten rule ;^) >
When I picked up my 900, the owner gave me a set of tires. She said they were the original tires that had been kept because they were swapped out another brand in the car's first 10k miles or something.
They are Pirelli P-2000 185/65 R15. They appear to still have good tread life and no signs of rot. Any reason why I shouldn't use them if I need?
What's on the car now are 195/60. A mixed set of I think Michellins in the front and an off brand in the back. Different ratings and max tire pressures too.
If I recall correctly the 185/65 would be more of a winter/snow tire size. Or have I got it backwards?
Thanks,
-Cubby
