You infer from the link that I am using "Rumplestiltskin's post to push an agenda just as he is using RickW's to vent. You are incorrect; I am merely encouraging him to *do something*. How is suggesting activism, which is a *constructive* alternative to spewing useless sarcasm, a "political statement"? Who else should I have linked to? The GOP?

The WMD comment obviously reflects his anger (that's what sarcasm is--anger) with the situation in Iraq. I suggested moveon.org because they are widely considered to be the largest web-based organization that is working with and on behalf of those who oppose the Bush Administration's foreign policy.

My political affiliation/philosophy has NOTHING to do with providing the link, nor is it relevant. Given that this is the Internet, it's appropriate to link to another Internet site. Had the poster been angry with the pro-choice movement, I might have linked to the most prominent pro-life site I could find.

Activism of any kind is a good thing, *even if what you believe is considered wrong by the entire planet's population*. Exercise your rights as an American and be thankful that you have them.

If you are happy with George Bush, vote for him next year. If you are unhappy with George Bush, vote against him.

PS Below are some political party sites. They're in alphabetical order, lest you suspect an ulterior motive:

http://www.cpusa.org/
http://www.democrats.org/
http://www.dsausa.org/
http://www.greens.org/na.html
http://www.rnc.org/

And, while not a political party site, per se, the most important link of all:
