on my 89, and needless to say, this makes it hard to get it out of the driveway. Heck, if I accidently start it in gear, I have to move the car about 2 feet in lurching motions running the starter to get the gearbox to turn a revolution so I can get it OUT of gear again. A master cylinder rebuild kit is apparently about $30 and an hour's labour. I'm just waiting for some warmer weather again (forecast a brisk 1 degree celsius for the weekend so that's when I'll likely pull the master cylinder, its -11C today)
to yank the master and drop it off at my mechanics to have the thing rebuilt, then I get to reinstall it and rebleed my lines.
