Wow, what love for your Saab.
Here's my story, though it's not a C-900, it's still a Saab.
1975 99 EMS with less than 63k miles. Purchase price was just a little over $6500/including tax. The original owner kept all the repair receipts since he bought it new, and they total just over $6400 in the 27 years he owned it.($2100 in body work in 1977 and a $1500 repair at an indy in 1999 are the largest expenses)
I bought it last year for $1000, and spent about $2500 doing a complete restoration on it in the last 6 months. That only adds up to $16,400 for 28 years, and for all intents and purposes, it is a new car.
