but it sounds like you got a lot.
When I changed the oil in my transmission the first time, the oil that came out was thick, dark, and had swirls of brass powder that made it look like gold paint you get in a craft shop.
You may want to change it again in a week or so, and again a week after that. Doing multiple changes will get the rest of the gritty stuff out.
