i agree with Chip on checking the connector to the APC computer and the printed circuit connections as well. The flanges I referred to were the ones that connect the turbo elbow to the exhaust. These get loose and you can lose boost, but my first guess is the APC computer connection, since all your hose clamps are tight.
Fishing through the intake grommet holes will be nearly impossible. When I said go in through the front, I meant remove the large hose from the front of the throttle body and move the turbo pipe out of the way. Then you can open the throttle butterfly by hand and look down the barrel with a flashlight. If you can see the grommet, you will be able to fish it out easily with the special dealer only Saab removal tool. coat hanger.
If you can't see it and decide to pull the intake manifold, you will want to move the A/C compressor out of the way. Remove A/C belt and two alternator belts so you can flop the alternator towards the firewall. then you can loosen (but not remove) the 12mm bolt at the bottom of the slotted A/C compressor bracket. The top of the bracket is held by 2 allen head bolts(5mm??). You can lift the compressor up without taking off any hoses. This will give you better access to some of the intake manifold bolts. Get the idle valve out of the way and unhook the other hoses, etc connected to the intake.
