Greg I went through the trouble shooting steps in the Bentley's and from the Townsend web site, and both indicated that the ECU was bad, A new module ranged from 300-600.00 and a rebuild is around 200.00, I found a ECU on ebay for about 10.00, luckily someone from the board mentioned d that the speed repeater is the same, and that the plug was different. I wired in a 88 plug using the Bentleys manual. Worked perfectly and the mid 80's ECU has better reputation for reliability that the 1992 unit.

Reason for my post was I have some dash lamps burned out and I am thinking about pulling the bezel to get at the dash lamps
