I've already run it in my '90's tranny (2,000 miles in syn gear oil) & it's currently running in the '90's engine (about 1,000 miles so far). I've also got it in the '85's tranny & engine (about 1,300 miles so far).
By next weekend I'll have 1,500 miles on the A-Rx in the '85, so I'll drain the tranny & change the oil filter on the engine. Since the PO of the '85 used it for nearly 100% short trip service (typically 4k-5k miles (6mos-8mos) on low-grade bulk oil), I'm going to leave it in the engine for a while longer than the directions call for. (I've already discussed my plans with the manufacturer, & have been given modified instructions particular to my situation.) I'm using fresh Saab 5W-30 Syn Blend for 5,000 miles, & each time I swap in a new oil filter I'll cut the old one open to see what's inside. As I go along, I'll let everyone know what I find.
The '90's also getting an extended engine treatment (5,000 miles on used M1 15W-50), so I'll include those reports as well. The '85 has 151k miles on it, & the '90 has 167k miles on it. Neither one is turbo. I'm not having any problems, but the results shared by many users convinced me to give it a try. See someone's confrontational "report" via my link below, & visit the "Additives" Forum in Alex C's link for lots more info.
