Jack up the front end and block the rear wheels so you will feel safe running the car with the front up. Then pull the wheel and unbolt the caliper and hang it from the spring. Set up a pointer on some sort of a stand so the pointer almost touches the rotor surface. You will see any wobble when you start the car and put it in say 3rd gear so the rotor will spin at a reasonable rate while the car is idling.
There is a chance that your rotor is warped or that there is a problem with the hub. Next step is to remove the rotor and use your pointer to measure any wobble on the hub surface. The hubs can get chunks of rust and dirt that will prevent a square mount of the rotor. Clean the hub with a wire brush on a drill, if the hub is not wobbly but has chunks of rust, I think you will have solved you problem. If the hub is wobbly, then you will need to replace the hub.
I think that hubs get shot when cars are run with a loose hub nut and/or when run with a really bad wheel bearing. The axle stub that goes into the bearing gets "spun" and wears. The axle stub should be tight in the bearing inner races. there is also a chance that the hub got bent from a bad pothole. Either way, you will have to replace the hub and to do this you will also have to replace the wheel bearing. A hydraulic press is the only practical way to do this. if you don't have one, you can remove the steering knuckle and take it to a good machine shop with the new hub and bearing. They can install it for a reasonable cost. A search on wheel bearings will turn up a detailed procedure.
