I'm in the process of replacing my right inner driver & tripod bearing on my '86 SPG. All the bolts & speedo mechanism are removed, but it does not want to come out. It is currently in reverse, Should I put the trans in neutral? There is a really nice place to pry on the upper rear but I don't want to put to much pressure on the trans case.
I read the Twin Saabs site & they do not mention anything about prying the inner driver out. I've also read earlier posts.
Any pro's out there that can throw me a bone?
