1) sounds like dash clock is hooked up to the "accessorys on" wire that is energised when key is turned on. Should be hooked up to a "always on" wire. Use a multi meter to test.
2) what the hey are front reverse lights? dont think there is such a thing??? reverse lights are turned on when car is placed in reverse. I believe the switch is located near the gear stick and can be adjusted. consult the Bentley Manual for further clarification
3) can probably change the boot for PS, but may find there are leaks elsewhere on the rack. I think whole PS rack can be replaced for aud$500 inc labour.
4) same as answer number 1 - wiring sounds wrong.
5) normal for instrument lights to be ON when driving day or night even with headlights off.
6) may be worth cleaning AIC and throttle body, but id be looking for a vaccuum leak first... even take apart the rubber intercooler ducts and inspect for small cracks and leaks. check all vac lines again. may be worth replacing with silicon vac lines.
7) not sure what you mean.
Get a Robery bentley manual - has some good info in it with plenty of wiring diagrams. Also check townsendimports.com for some further great info!
hope that helps!
cheers from down under
