This is a tough question to get difinitive answer too. But I had this experience when I was backing out of my driveway and my foot slipped off the clutch... the door was open and caught my fence completely taking the door all the way around into the fender and hood. Only had the car one month. Anyway... I bought a side wheel well fender for $80 and took it to a body shop and he was able to carefully replace only what I needed... cutting just inback of the wheel well and blending. Everyone will tell you that all the panels are welded not bolted...and a good body man will be able to work with this. They charged $250 per panel..paint and body work.
The folks I worked with were more than happy for me to get the parts for them... which I know I could find much cheaper than they could.
Find out if you need a wheel well and then try to get all the parts... hopefully saving yourself some $$.
GOodluck,
Kirk
