Inner Driver out again

On a hard right hand turn the inner driver popped out, this happened a year ago, and I replaced the axle with the 6mm longer one, on passenger side, thought the problem was gone. Son was driving, again, and said that at least 3 wheels were on the ground this time! I have a 87 turbo convertible, with 92 5 speed.
Should I be using the ABS spacers on the axle to increase the engagement with the inner axle?
Getting the kid to keep all the wheels on the ground is hardly an option, he drives like his dad used to...
