I bought the car from a mechanic who really didn't know Saabs and couldn't figure out the problem. He replaced the fuel pressure regulator (checked the part number it's the correct 3.0 bar one), potentiameter (TPS), and tried a different AMM before giving up. AMM on the car seems to be the correct one ending in 013. The cap, rotor, and wires all seem good and newer. I did replace the voltage regulator in the alternator before getting the computer as the alternator brushes were worn and it wasn't charging. Fuel lines don't seem to be pinched. Should I check for vacuum out of the line on the intake plenum to the FPR? Grommet seems a little loose. Am going to get new plugs and try them to rule plugs being shot due to bad computer before. I had cleaned and checked gap. Thanks a lot for the help and putting my mind at ease about the computer.
