Sudden stalls at idle

These last couple days Ive gotten a new quirk...ill be cruising along the highway, start downshifting toward a slow down or stop, and when I bring the cluth all the way down to get into neutral, the car just dies out. Usually Im still rolling enough to pop it back into 2nd and start right back up, but why is it doing this. Also, I notice sometimes the RPMs bottom out when I put in neutral after a high (2500-3000) rpm. No hoses seem to be disconnected as the turbo boosts fine, but the idle does hunt a little bit on cold starts. Could it be the throttle?
TIA
Chris
