You probably have all silicone vacuum hoses, then. So a leak to the valve probably isn't an issue.
Is this the original dashpot? If it's the original, it might not be able to slow those last few degrees of throttle closing enough.
By now you're probably tried this, but you might want to soak the stop screw with PB blaster.
Shooting from the hip, it's always possible that the TPS isn't adjusted properly or you have an AMM that's going bad.
