It was a few years ago, but I did install a set of rust free door on my old 87T (rip). I believe I took the door and hinge off the body by the 6 bolts that holds the hinges to the body (they face towards the rear of the car). Of course, this is given that the soon to be installed doors still have the hinges on them. I don't believe that I had too much of a problem aligning the new doors.
The power locks were the only thing I kept, as I the doors I purchased were set up for manual windows. Not as nice, but in college I was operating under the premise that simpler = cheaper to fix.
I do remember that I snagged a stack of foam to rest the doors on while mounting them to eliminate a need for an extra set of hands.
