It's the newbie again: how about a 92 turbo? Posted by Ken [Email] (#2113) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ken) on Sat, 17 Apr 2004 08:02:32 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
In a previous posting I inquired about a 94 turbo convt. The dealer was firm at 5900 and it had 137K on it. I took advice here and tried to bicker, but they were firm - it being spring and all.
But now I found an amazing green 92 turbo convt. with 115K on it. Other than a little wear/discoloring on the driver's leather and an inoperable pwr antenna, this car is super. The 5-speed was replaced recently from a total with 30K on it and the tan top and AC were all new last year. The private party selling it is asking 6500, which sounds a little high to me. Kelly Blue Book (http://www,kbb,com) quotes a 6910 retail, and 4805 private party value. NADA guides (http://www.nadaguides.com) quotes 6208 avg retail.
This is the second owner - owned for the last 10 years - and it's beautiful. So how should I balance my left brain analytical (read "cheap") side with my emotional right brain which would buy it immediately?
Looking forward to saome great input. This BB is fantastic!
