Actually my office is almost next door to AutoScandia. AutoScandia did not seem quite as knowlegable as the guys at S&S on the older Saabs other than one mechanic named Omar. But then I have not had any serious work done there. They'd be fine for simple service and maintenance.
S&S is a bit more comfortable to work with and willing to "talk Saab" with you, where AutoScandia is a bit more "professional" so to speak. S&S also gives you a free loaner Saab when you need to leave it with them. Very nice. The only problem I have with S&S is their used car prices: a bit high.
A third option is the new International Saab service location near Dulles, off 28. Manager's name is Paul Hooper and he knows his stuff on both new and old (has a C900T). You'll pay more for some stuff, but they're really good to work with. Look online at internationalsaab dot com for the address.
Welcome to N. Virginia, watch out for cell-phone drivers!
