Fortunately for you, this problem is a common one and easily diagnosed and remedied. Behind the dash is a rod which connects the heater control switch on your dash with the heater valve attached to the engine firewall. If you remove the left speaker grill, you'll have all the access you need to diagnose and solve the problem. You'll be able to feel if the rod has become disconnected to either the switch or the valve. Putting the rod back in place is the solution. That's the best case scenario. The worst is if the rod is connected and the heater still blows hot air, which indicates that the heater valve has a problem. The only fix in that case is replacing the valve.
