Have you checked the throttle switch? There's a micro-switch on the throttle body. With the engine off, you should hear it click just as the throttle closes all the way, but the true test is continuity. The black/white wire should be a good ground. The grey wire should have continuity to ground when the throttle is closed. Maybe this is adjusted a bit too close, when it warms up the switch goes open?
If this switch goes open, the AIC system isn't 'turned on'.
