I am researching replacing my front pads and maybe my rotors (Not Sure yet). I did this with my '89 (w/ my mechanics aide), but the '87 is quite different.
1) I've been searching the board about the "Brake Tool" to screw in the piston, I should have Park Bottom Bracket tool (With my bike Tool Kit), how does this work and will it work?
2) I don't have a tool to measure thickness so I'm not sure if I need to go ahead and replace my rotors additional $80/pair. I already have pads and hardware kit ordered. I wanted to avoid the extra work of removing the caliper et al to but should I go ahead and replace the rotors?
TIA
Wil W
