I'm planning on recharging my A/C system with R134; I had it converted a few years ago, and now the A/C compressor doesn't kick in anymore and I can see the green dye on the firewall (slow leak). I'm planning on trying to do a quick DIY refill on freon to see if that would fix it for a while. I read somewhere that I would need to jumper the low-pressure safety switch to run the compressor for 20 sec or so to draw the freon into system. I can't find the post again, so I need some help with how to jumper switch to turn on compressor. I looked in my Bentley's but it only says there is a low-pressure safety switch on reciever/dryer.
TIA
Wil W
