I would check voltage at the smaller wire on the back of the starter. If much below 12, the solenoid might not be kicking in the starter. Clean all your battery terminals, ground connections and power cable connections to see if that helps. If still NG, then the staret solenoid might be shot. Most practical approach is to buy a rebuilt Bosch starter.

On other issue. If your ignition key has ever stuck in start rather than springing back to run, there is a chance that you have melted some insulation in the wiring harness from the key up to the fuse box. The resulting short is draining current when you try to start. A bad heat sheild over the cat converter can also lead to wmelted insulation. I f this is the case, you will need to repair the wiring harness...pita
