Had brembo rotors and pbr pads on my old 9000 and had more stopping power than I ever used. Have (previous owner's) drilled rotors on my '88 900S (same calipers, rotor size etc) and have been unimpressed (and a little scared) by the dinimished stopping power. Drilled or slotted rotors have less surface area than stock and are therefore less efficient at stopping you. They may help in heat dissipation from heavy braking but these are circumstances that noone in america regularly (ever?) encounters. Brembo/Balo/zimmerman standard slotted rotors are the best choice for normal driving. They're also signifigantly cheaper.
