I have an 83 900T 4dr that may have a grounding problem. The symptoms are:

1. Radio occasionally turns off/loses power when I hit the turn signal. It comes back on after a few seconds. Usually this only happens when there is a large load on the alternator, i.e. lights on, radio on, wipers on, fan on.

2. The fuel pump fuse has blown on me twice in two years. In the meantime it gets darker and darker like it's burning up then eventually blows. This concerns me a lot since it's the fuel pump that's potentially shorting out. Not a good place to have an electrical short.

Anyway, I haven't checked the grounding connections other than doing the famous tail light grounding fix a couple of years ago, which I double checked. I wanted to see if this was a common problem that may be something else other than grounding problems. Any ideas? TIA!
