Here's an alternate diagnosis route:
Check for spark. If you'e not getting spark, there are 2 major things that could be up (and a few little things, but these 2 things are common and will result in a no-start condition with no fuel smell): bad ignition amplifier and bad hall effect sensor. Check your spark plugs to make sure that they aren't wet with gas, just to be sure.
If you're not getting spark because of either of those, the ECU won't let the fuel pump run. So you won't see voltage at the pump anyway.
Both the ignition amplifier and hall effect sensor can become sensitive to heat over the years.
Check the connector on the side of the distributor. It may be just loose enough to give you problems when the car is hot.
