When I worked as a cable guy some of the guys got into trouble with child door locks. Our vans all had them and there was a cage to keep things moving from the back to front. We had guys get stuck in the back of there vans every now and again. One tech was stuck in a customers yard for an hour. The customer never came out to see where the cableguy went. He had to use long sticks we use to move cable lines on the poles to pull his radio mic into the back and call dispach to call the customer to come let him out. Another tech and his girlfriend got stuck in the back of my van fooling around (we took our vans home at the time and they where at my house for a party). They were in there for 2 hours about 1/2 that time taking the door apart with cable guy tools so they could get out. We had no idea till later that night they had been stuck. The only bad part was I had to put the door back together. I thought this would make you feel alittle better. As you can see it could be worse...
