kind of like a left hand drill bit that GRABS the screw head..you must run your remover in reverse to get it to work.
Otherwise just drill the head off, remove the voltage regulator, and use a vise grip or pliers to remove the screw. NEw voltage regs often come with new screws. I like the hex head screws. Or get some hex head screws, even a grade 8 socket head cap screw (they're nice, especially with those ball-head wrenches that work at an angle).
