Just a guess mind you, but perhaps one of the temp sensor plugs is disconnected, or connected incorrectly, meaning two plugs connections are reversed. I'm not familiar with the 92/93 wire harness, but say between the two engines some temp sensors were reversed. If you kept the 92 harness and connected it according to the 92 temp locations, but the 93 sensors are different... You see where I'm going.
