Greetings, I'm a 1stX Saab owner. I recently sold my '89 740 Turbo and bought a neighbor's '90 900 4dr sdn 16V 5spd which had been sitting in his driveway for about a year. Only problems it has is no a/c and almost no reverse(clunks & thunks when you hold it in rev.). I attempted to replace spark plugs this past weekend, engine was warm, starting with #1 cyl., it would barely budge. I was afraid to try moving it any further because I felt like was was gonna twist the whole stinking head right off the block! was putting alot of strength(too much from my experience), it would just slohttp://wwwwwly move. I tried cyl. #2, and with very slow, gingerly, deliberate cranks, got that one out and then put it back, then decided to postpone until my post here. Any advice as to how(or if) I should procede to complete this would be greately appreciated.
Michael '90 900 108k(odo stopped spinning just before parked).
