I am trying to set the timing on my 88 spg. have books (bently and chilton) but am having trouble getting started.
Does anyone have an easy way to suggest? I do know the basics but can't seem to find the marks on the flywheel (I found the area on the clutch cover to view and set).
Do I need to find the marks before hooking up my inductive timing light (actron). And being by myself today means a little extra work, so looking for how to do it solo-
when i'm done with this task-, going to install an aid from group 9, which will require another adjustment to 19-20 degrees.
Thanks to anyone with suggestions-
Bryan
