Hello fellow Saabers,

I have been looking to get some new speakers and a cd/mp3 player put into my 900. Firstly, will 6 x 9 fit in the rear? I was told from the audio store that thy will not fit, but from searching the bb here it looks like they will. Is there any modifications needed for them to fit and will they be flush when they are in? Any recommendations for speakers??? I was looking at MB quarts.

I have looked at a number of cd/mp3 players to replace the clarion unit. How good is the original unit? Will I get the sound quality from my new speakers from the original unit? And if no, is there a big difference? All the units I have seen are too flashy and I hate the small buttons they have. Can anyone recommended one that looks stock, that has WB, and will not strains one eyes at night? Is it possible to keep the stock unit and use it for the radio and install a CD mp3 player in the cubby under the ashtray?
