Put the key in the lock and turn it part way between the 'lock' position and the next position over (where the trans is unlocked and the accessories run, but the ignition's not on). There's a spring loaded pin in a hole in the housing that you can then push in and pull out the lock barrel.

If you don't have the key (or it's broken off, etc), there's a way you can drill a hole in the housing and punch out the pin, then remove the barrel, but I've never done that. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this, if necessary.

BTW, just in case you're changing the lock because you can't get the key to go in, or more importantly *far enough* in, I've seen this problem and fixed it without changing the lock. Because of its location in the car, the lock tends to collect debris. Particularly bad is when something gets in or on the key opening on the lock, then gets jammed down in the barrel when you try to put the key in. If it then keeps the key from going all the way in, the lock won't work anymore. I've fixed this problem, at times, with a dental pick, compressed air, compressed solvent (e.g. Brakleen), WD-40, etc. Good luck.
