Leave the master loose in the firewall until after you've threaded the new hose into it.
If you need more room, push the coolant reservoir up/out of the way. If you still need more room, loosen the alternator and push it out of the way, too. Bleeding the clutch can be problematic; use pressure at the reservoir cap, if possible.
Keep a water hose handy for brake fluid spills...
