Andres,
"Like most wire harnesses it is a one year only for the 86"
I have an independant SAAB repair shop who tells me that the main harness running through the car is the same for all years. They tell me they checked with two Saab dealers to confirm this. They want $200 for a used main harness. Since so much of the harness is burned this would save me a lot of time rather than trying to repair the mess one wire at a time. If I tried to match the wires and the striping by using someone like Del City the wire alone would exceed $200 as they will only stripe 1000 foot rolls.
In addition, part of the white plug into the fuse box got melted so I would have to find a similar plug or come up with a work around.
