John has given you a lot of good info .One thing you want to do is Identify which model Saab radio you bought. for a 92 conv you should have either a Saab part number 02 47 502 (PU9587)or 02 47 510 (PU9588) , these are base number. if your only reinstalling the radio your cage should be 40 83 036 (EU-921). At the end of the red banded cable there should be a Shorting plug ,part number 40 85 197. You also need to know how they hooked up the rear speakers as most installers bypass the factory amp.make sure your rear amp is still under the pass seat and the 8 pin blue banded cable that goes between the amp and radio, has both ends.
