I think you definately have a case and you should contest and go to court.
File for "Discovery" with the court clerk on your case, request the officers notes. At that time you can subpeona the 'officer' and the witness. Fighting my own case right now and spoke with a lawyer and he said he doesn't subpeona the officer but requests the calibration tech. and tries to create holes in the case. Usually the tech won't show and the judge will throw it out.
Your case sounds solid. Take good notes and create your line of defense. At a minimun consult with a lawyer (hopefully they won't charge for the first visit) but you may be better off by yourself... as they charge lots..(they wanted $600 for my case).
When you get your court date there will be phone # for the prosecuting attorney. Call them. Try to work out a deal before court. This can really help. Don't give the posecuter all your evidence though.
Goodluck.
