...thinking that might be my problem. It looked nice and clean inside, but I sprayed it out with carb cleaner anyway. Let it soak in there for a little while, then dumped it out. The carb cleaner that came out looked pretty clean, too.
Re-installed the AIC valve and no improvement.
I'm going to try cleaning the contacts on the AIC valve. They didn't look too bad, but there was a hint of oxidation on them. Might be a longshot, but who knows.
Is there a test for the AIC valve?
