I still have my orginal 84 900T. Rebuild and modified it for fun. After 160K the cylinder walls looked brand new, thanks to the high nickel content. These blocks are indestructable. The CIS fuel system was a little finnicky on start up, but is relaiable as hell. And as all saabs the tranny is weak. I ported and polished the head, upgraded the turbo, put in a hotter cam in, put built a boost adjustable APC and upgraded entire suspension. The car runs like a top! Now if I could only find a way not to self dsestruct the tranny, increase my fuel delivery and keep up with the rust repair. I like they way it drives as much as my 2001 chipped 2.7 twin turbo Audi.
