Along the lines of Cessna Pilot's thoughts, I don't think that it's necessarily a fuel problem unless the fuel pressure regulator has decided that it's time to buy the farm.
My experience with flooding has been that the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor can be the cause. Old plugs can have a gap that has grown too large or might just have a coating that is slightly more conductive than the fuel air mixture. If you have a new set of plugs, try putting them in.
If it's excessively damp under the hood, old spark plug wires can conduct the spark to ground.
Try starting it with the the fuel pump fuse removed - see what it does.
You might want to change the spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor on general principles, anyway.
