Passive belt replacement - track cover to B pillar

I am having trouble removing the seat belt track covers from the B pillar. I have the 3 plastic snaps detached along the top and the visors out, and the rear side panel removed, along with the headliner. Seems like I am missing something, cause it is not even wiggling much, let alone coming off. I do not want to break something trying to force it off.
Also, has anyone tried using the rear belts and tensioners moved to the front when doing this conversion to manual 3-point belts?
