This is a very common problem with the Classic 900.
The first time I had it fixed my local indy Saab guy took the think apart and ground down the plastic cam that wears, causing the problem. But shortly thereafter the entire thing blew apart! Guess he didn't glue the thing back together well enough or something.
The second time I had it "fixed" I pulled one out of a wrecked car at the local Pick-a-Part. Should've tested it BEFORE I bought it: the "new" one had the same problem (won't stay on during right turns).
The third time I "fixed" it I took one off a wrecked car at the Pick-a-Part but TESTED it first. It worked for a few months then did the same thing (won't stay on during right turns).
I gave up. I refuse to buy a new one from the dealer for the price they're asking.
Good luck.
