Symptoms of failing tps/ntc?

Here are my car's symptoms (1990 900i 16v): Starts normally, then dies. Hard to get running again. Then runs, but dies at the first stop if I don't rev it up. This goes on 'til the car is all warmed up. Then it idles ok at about 900 rpm's, but unsteady. Sometimes if I just touch the gas pedal, the rpm's go up to 2000, sometimes stick there, sometimes settle at 1200-1500 rpm's. At the next stop, they are sometimes back to normal, sometimes not. Also, the car doesn't seem to know where the rpm's are, sometimes it'll just keep pushing, sometimes try to stall. Acceleration is uneven, but better if I push the pedal a bit deeper. Between shifts rpm's sometimes drop like a rock.
What I did so far:
Checked all vacuum hoses, they seem ok, no hissing sounds, everything vacuum works too.
Changed AMM with a known good one, no difference.
Changed AIC with a known good one and left it there. Made things a bit better, but not much.
Readjusted TPS, no difference.
I guess this leaves either tps, ntc, or O2 sensor. Where to go on? Any one have a hunch?
Thanks!
