Must be a rolled/torn up o-ring. Get a new set for about $8 and replace all of them. A 5 gallon bucket wire handle is good to use to hold the pressure plate in the compressed position. You will need to use a pry bar after you unbolt the pressure plate from the flywheel since you don't have any clutch action. Use the pry bar and some sockets as spacers, to get the pressure plate to compress and insert a circular piece of the bucket wire to hold the fingers down. I had to drive 40 miles without a clutch to get home....here's how. To start out without a clutch, put the tranny in 1st gear and use the starter to get you rolling and the motor to start up. When conming to a stop, put it in neutral and shut the motor off. Repeat previous step to get going again. Shifting after moving is not too bad without the clutch.
